I’m test driving another feature I found on Flickr today. I was able to sync up Flickr with my camera phone and our blog… So now, I can basically post my camera phone pictures to Flickr and our blog pretty darn quickly. Neat-o! Oh yea, this is a picture of Amy chillin’ in her stroller at the JP’s office (on the day Binh and I made it official, lol).

So… these Starters, bought from Wally-Mart, were made with cardboard… because Binh forgot his shoes for the bike ride on Saturday morning. Maybe I’ll let him go into more detail at another time…. when he decides he wants to blog again! ROFL.

I just learned this new trick on Flickr when you link it your blog…. basically once you upload a photo to Flickr, you can click on this nifty link above the photo called “blog this” and the photo will be composed onto your blog as an entry. Okay, call me geeky, but I think it’s pretty darn cool!

My hubby turned 32 today… since he didn’t want a full-blown party today, I thought it’d be fun to reminisce through some prior parties… the first picture was from his 31st birthday and the second one was from his 30th birthday. hehehe :)

Star, Binh and I did the 21st Tour de Goatneck bike rally in Cleburne yesterday morning…. and we’re still alive (we think). We’d been told that this ride consistently ranked as one of the best rides in North Texas, and we definitely know why now. For the record, I must admit that I only signed up for this ride because I wanted the t-shirt. Check it out – how can you resist not wanting one of these suckers?

We knew that we’d be conquering a lot of hills in this ride after reading some of the ride reviews… but dammit, seriously people, the hills just kept on coming.

We signed up for the 27 mile route, but after leaving the second rest stop, we were directed in the wrong direction and ended up at the third rest stop for the 41 mile route. I kid you not, I was in a foul mood after that. I was already really, really, tired and didn’t want to do another 20 miles!

I ended up sucking it up and kept on biking…. but after 24 miles, the inevitable happened. As one of the hills neared, I got off my bike to push my bike up the hill (yes, that’s right, I was tired as hell). Binh biked on up the hill, but 3/4 of the way up, he tried to get off but his legs locked up and he literally fell over. Fell over! I saw him fall over, sliding 4 feet onto the downward-sloped curb and leaving his bike half-way in the street. His legs had given out and we had to call the SAG wagon to pick us up because we were totally done then. We didn’t finish the ride and ended up clocking only 24 miles…. yeah, I know, we sucked hardcore.

Oh well… the ride was a really good one and we’ll sign up again next year. Hopefully we’ll be in better shape next year. Until then, we’ll leave you with our after-ride facial expressions:

I set my alarm and seriously got up at 8am this morning to get Wii Mario Kart and Wii Fit! I called Target at 8am (on the dot, literally) and they said they had some… and by 8:15am I had bought the 2nd-to-last Wii Fit and 3rd-to-last Mario Kart game. It was nuts because people were running towards the electronics section when I was walking out of the store! I scored big time and both games are addictive!

A fairy dropped off the most awesomeness gift…. [drum roll]…. our wedding tapes/dvd’s!! We had our first “watching party” last night and let’s just say, we replayed so many of the discs that we stayed up until 1am! The video camera caught some of the funniest moments – most of which we didn’t realize were happening, lol. I have a list of all my favorite moments, but I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t watched the tapes/dvd’s yet. We can’t wait to have another watching party for those who couldn’t make it to the first one!

Binh gave me a gift yesterday, and it was a green iPod shuffle! I’d been wanting one and yesterday he let me pick out the color I wanted. It’s so super cute and super light weight! I just added a handful of songs to it, but I need to download some more tunes since I wiped out my music collection, lol. I love it! Woohoo!
