Some days, like today, I retort to very child-like behavior. I don’t know why, but I know that I can’t help it. Some days are better than others…. unfortunately today didn’t go quite as we had originally planned!
I can’t believe its been only a year since we’ve known Joey! We first met Joey the weekend of his birthday, this time last year, when we walked into the apartment complex to inquire about the rates…. never did we think we’d become such great friends! Joey’s a charm and we helped coordinate his birthday party this year. The first stop was The Magic Time Machine for dinner, followed by drinks at The Londoner.

Happy Birthday, Joey!
A group of us went skiing March 5-9 in Breckenridge, Colorado… me, Binh, Jody, Joey, Ajay, Wendy, Jason and Robert. There were so many funny moments, from bad local food to our haunted condo, so I’ll recap our trip through the pix below.
The drive from Denver to Breckenridge was absolutely gorgeous:

Once we got to the condo, we piled onto a king bed in the master bedroom:

Of course there was some skiing on the first day… but I won’t go into how Joey and Binh was taken back down to the bottom of the mountain by a ski instructor and sled… only to wait for me to arrive by snow mobile! A note of caution, do not take the Snowflake Ski Lift if you intend on finding “easy” greens…. I would highly recommend the Quicksilver Ski Lift over by Beaver Run, which has easier green runs.

Robert kept talking about getting cookies at Mary’s Mountain Cookies, so we did…. too bad they weren’t very good.

While the group was out on the third day skiing, Binh, me and Joey decided to go shopping and do some sightseeing instead.

By the end of the trip, most of us were getting sick and ready to come home! Maybe I’ll let Binh add his commentary about the trip…… rofl.
Congratulations to our friends, Christina and Jeff, on their engagement announcement! We’re so happy to have been there to witness the big day! Let the wedding planning commence!
